We source our materials from a local sawmill, and we then process the green lumber into wood shaving packing curls that are used by our customers for packing all kinds of products from food, glass, ceramics, and gift boxes. Sylvacurl is the only manufacturer of this type of protective packaging. Sylvacurl wood shaving packing curls have been used by hundreds of companies to ship thousands of products for over thirty years.

Because Sylvacurl packing curls are a simple wood shaving product, they contain no harmful plastics or chemicals, they are a completely natural protective packaging. We offer two sizes, wider 1”curls and narrow ¼” inch curls. The 1” curls are ideal as a protective packaging option for food products and breakage items, and the ¼” curls work well as gift basket filler. Both wood shaving products are backyard or curbside compostable. They also can be reused as packing again, or discarded like any other wood shaving product.
